           55+ SENIOR FITNESS

 

Working out and staying fit safely is extremely important as we age. There are tremendous health and lifestyle gains for older people. Fitness training can greatly improve your quality of life including increased mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. Also, training can help increase bone mass, as well as bone density, and strengthen tendons and ligaments, which results in a decreased risk of sarcopenia (loss of muscle tissue) and osteoporosis (weakening of bones) that can leave one bedridden when one ages. Seniors, get started today! (Accommodations are made for any current limitations.)

          CORPORATE PLANS

 

Promoting exercise among employees, corporate fitness programs lead to a reduction in employee absenteeism. Employees who are stressed, unhealthy or overworked tend to become sick much more often than healthy employees. Companies promotimg fitness will experience a reduction in employee injuries, illness, absenteeism and healthcare costs, as well as an increase in employee retention and productivity. Assuming responsibility for establishing a healthy, harmonious working environment will allow everyone to enjoy the benefits of corporate wellness.

          PRE/POSTNATAL FITNESS

 

Personalized Pregnancy Fitness – For Non-High Risk Pregnancies. Sessions are for women in all three trimesters of pregnancy, and beyond. The intensity level will be moderate and each session will include pelvic stability work, cardio and bodyweight exercises, balance and stretching. This program is not for high risk pregnancies. Women who exercise through pregnancy have reduced complications (such as gestational diabetes and fatigue), an improved sense of well being, shorter labor, and a speedier recovery after delivery. On average, an active pregnant woman gains around 8 pounds less that a sedentary one.

 

          GROUP SESSIONS

You can work out with friends and/or family in a Semi-Private/Small Group Training Session. Unlike a private individual session, the goal in a group session is to surround you with supportive people with similar goals, while giving the group more specified attention than can be achieved in a community fitness class or gym.
